The day so many have awaited is nearly here! AWANA begins on October 2 from 6:30-8 PM, with the traditional Bonfire and S'Mores treats for the clubbers and an opportunity for parents/guardians to register their children, order a book and shirt or vest, pay dues, meet the leaders, and even sit in on the meeting. That's all great news!
Now, for the sad news: The Copper Valley AWANA that meets at Glennallen Community Chapel has always been run by volunteers from area churches. This year, clubber enrollment will be limited by the number of adult leaders available. Enrollment will be on a first-come, first-served basis with a wait list. Leader’s children are guaranteed club enrollment.
More clubbers may be enrolled when/if more leaders volunteer. All leaders must complete Child Protection Policy training and pass a background check.
If you are interested in becoming a leader, please contact the Chapel office at 822-3499 or by email at [email protected].
