By the end of this week, many of us will have had a really good meal with some of the folks we love. Many will be missing from the usual fellowship due to Covid 19 recommendations. We may be tempted to say, "Thanksgiving is over, let's just move on. This year has been long enough already." Let me encourage you to change your thinking. Let us renew our minds. Let's remember that we can celebrate Christ's coming all through the year. The whole year is the "season for the reason" of worship and celebration of the birth of Jesus.
Titus 3:4-5 But after that the kindness and love of God our Savior toward man appeared. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
November 29 is the first Sunday of Advent. Glennallen Chapel will celebrate with a Candle of Hope. Please plan to join us either in person or on Face Book Live at 11 AM. Fifth Sunday Hymn Sing will be at 7 PM when we can sing more.
