In one sense, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus the Christ every Sunday when we meet together for worship. The Jews' traditional day for worship was the seventh day as God set the pattern during creation week. When Jesus rose from the dead early on the first day of the week, it set a new standard for worship. However, there is a special time when believers gather to remember the Crucifixion, Death, and Burial of our Lord. It is a somber time recalling deep loss and yet also, a time for great rejoicing in our salvation that is a gift from the resurrected Savior.
Glennallen Community Chapel will hold a Good Friday service at 6 PM on April 15.
In celebration of the resurrection, the community-wide Easter Sunday Sunrise Service will be at Simpson Hill at 7:30 AM on April 17. A community breakfast at the Chapel will follow.

Everyone is welcome to attend any of the scheduled events without reservation or notice.
